OK guys i have a loooot of blogs i manage and this blog was more important when i hadn’t even started the comic but now it’s kind of in the way! <:C

So if any of you are willing I have an artblog blyu-dono.tumblr.com and that is where all my ucoom stuff (and all my other comic ideas) will be going from now on! ITs all just my art- so its not really a lot of annoying other posts or anything.

I’ll be abandoning this blog it has some old yet important posts on it so i might just let it stay but i will be completely inactive!

I’ll post reminders about this for the next couple weeks. I hope you’ll join me on my other blog guys :)

i almost for got it was day 1!!! My primary focus for art slam is working on chapter 2 and 3 of my comic but i just finished this last page /currently toning/ and its still quite relevant to my goal of moving forward. still trying to decide if i should even continue with the terribly monochromes i have been using for my comics…. ヽ(；▽；)ノ

I find that, when writing bios, it’s really helpful to look at a list or a chart like the one above. Picking two or three traits from each chart and building a character based around them will give you a really interesting bio, because they will serve as a reminder that characters need depth and dimension.

Independent and clever.

VS.

Independent, clever, pretentious, and stubborn.

The first combination doesn’t come with any flaws, whereas the second will provide a more dynamic character.

it doesnt make for a good fill in meme though considering some words are repeated and other words are just synonyms to each other.

I just posted these doodles along with a non spoiler briefing of the story on mm.net http://www.mangamagazine.net/manga-and-comics/The-Unfinished-Case-of-Owl-Mcdooey/detail-page/120 in the members comic forum so i guess i could share here too!

The Unfinished Case of Owl Mcdooey is a pretty broad sort of genre, like real life it comes with all kinds of emotions and relationships and like a good comic it has some unreal adventuring action and comedy. You can undoubtedly expect a lot from it! So whats this story about anyway? (with out major spoilers of course)

WELL theres this protagonist kid named Owl- Owl Mcdooey.

he’s actually not a shy kid he’s very open and almost blunt but he does get a wittle shy if he really likes you. I think he might just have tummy aches here though.

And he doesnt stay 17 for long! *hint hint*

He also was born with a strong 6th sense.

he can see ghosts and stuff; ever since he was small! It played a huge part in how he viewed the world.

but for some reason he’s gone and runaway from home- with out a word he disappeared one night. geez this kid.

he claims few would understand because he lives in a world others hardly know exists. And out there in the city are others like him.

most importantly he believes he has a greater purpose. One that takes him beyond the comfort of home. And is quite committed to it and will continue on……

even if he must go it alone.

But what is his mission, what does it mean? Where must he go and what must he do? and ironically the most important question even Owl doesn’t think to ask is

This is no joke- it could even be considered obvious but you’ll only notice in the end.

so i hope you guys will check it out, and maybe stick around. I made these nice doodles to enhance the story telling drama hehe. There are a lot of “whos” a lot of different characters with a lot of different stories. And sometimes you might wonder what it has to do with anything but one kids story can also be everyones story.
